Adopt, Don't Shop!
Last month REVENIR went to visit these adorable animals to raise some awareness for 'The Humane Society of North Florida'

The Humane Society of North Central Florida was founded in 2018 after three independent organizations joined forces. Values, like compassion, collaboration, and community, did not change but the life-saving abilities for the Gainesville area did increase! Its mission is to care for and house healthy and treatable pets to prevent unnecessary euthanasia. This organization advocates for pets and owners and promotes proper medical care and fixation. Some REVENIR contributors were able to volunteer at the shelter and socialize with both cats and dogs.
On February 13th, we headed to the shelter located in Alachua County. We visited each cat room to play with kitties and were able to get some puppy love too! We played with a variety of dogs, from a Pit bull mix to a terrier mix.
ALL of these animals are available for adoption! If you are not able to commit to a lifetime of hugs, kisses, and unconditional love, consider fostering! Many animals just need a temporary home to give the opportunity to live life outside of the shelter until they find their FURR-ever homes. If your apartment does not allow dogs, just sign up to volunteer instead. (We have included the link to the website below.)
There is ALWAYS something you can do to help homeless animals!
